What I liked

I loved how there’s always a next surprise. There is no dead space. Sharpe daisy-chains plot twists at a breakneck speed with a confidence that reveals the solid craft and dedication beneath the surface of this weird monster. With the staging, she sets us up to have low expectations so that our pleasure watching is a surprise sweetened by lingering disbelief. I love the excitement I feel while watching this show. It’s a wild ride, and feels like I am inside a brilliant yet crazy mind – the mind of a genius. This show is somehow both stupid and groundbreaking, a tour-de-farce soap opera conjured out of thin air, a few props, and a whole lotta commitment. Inspiring.

What I didn't like

I truly can’t think of anything at all.

My overall impression

I’m obsessed with Molly’s show. The energy she brings is electric and wild. It’s full-on non-stop entertainment that never lets up. The performance is brilliant and committed and so funny it leaves your cheeks hurting, the writing is sharp and witty, the characters somehow believable even when they’re nonhuman, and the singing/songwriting are both well done and astonishing.
