The solid understanding of herself as a performer, playing to her strengths at 10000%. Being part of this high, wild energy. Her voice and songs. Feeling like I was in the inside of her make believe world. The vulgarity and freedom.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything. This experience was just what I needed.
My overall impression
Freedom and silliness at their energetic heights! Molly takes you into a world of Miranda, an open-hearted (and open-legged) lover of all who cross her path. There is an electric energy to this performance. We saw it at 11am and the room was full, the energy was high and it is hard not to be swept into the world of “Murder, Oops” which invites us to play. There’s something really generous and welcoming about Molly as a performer. Every character is played with a wink and an invitation to come and love them. She’s also an incredible singer with Broadway lungs and stamina. She’s so comfortable being in the world of physical and vocal riffing, making mistakes turn into memorable jokes. The whole crowd felt like best friends.
