What I liked
The dialogue and the acting were really very good. It flows, it never feels forced. The pieces of the puzzle are laid out expertly and when it all snaps into place, it feels earned.
What I didn't like
The filmed sequences feel a bit more clunky than what happens on stage (probably a 1:1 ratio with how much rehearsal time given to each respectively). The physicality could have used some more polish – but this is an extremely minor note for an otherwise flawless set of performances.
My overall impression
Two incredible, whip-smart performances in an often funny family drama that builds to a crescendo.
