What I liked

For me, the acting was the standout. This piece hinges on the complex emotions of two people the entire time, and I thought both actors did an incredible job of balancing real emotions with the hidden secrets of their characters. Nothing felt unnatural. Especially because you can hate both characters in this and see their perspectives at the same time. It’s frustrating in the best way.

What I didn't like

I want it to be longer, to allow for the realizations and developments their due course. SOOOO much happens in this relationship. So much is revealed. 50 minutes flew by. I wanted more time.

My overall impression

I really enjoyed the twist and turns in the show. I walked in expecting one thing and when I left it was even more twisted and dark than I could have imagined. There are so many bread crumbs along the way that are subtle, and at the end of the play it’s revealed as a beautifully baked loaf. I thought the actors were really strong, and everything had weight and pay off. Really well done.
