What I liked
The real footage from Marissa’s childhood to tie into her story. Also LOVED the ukulele playing over the footage, with Marissa looking back at herself at a younger age. It brought me to tears… truly a beautiful moment.
What I didn't like
not crying on the drive home lol.
My overall impression
A Peacock in the Rubble was a beautifully told story from the beautiful heart of Marissa Rutka. Her story telling made me feel a big supportive hug saying “it’s all going to be okay kid”. What a special show. What a special person
