Marissa’s stage presence was calming and brilliant, and her story was deep and introspective. Music, combined with photos and videos, accompanied this transformative journey.
What I didn't like
Nothing to add here. It was beautiful.
My overall impression
Brave storytelling in its open honesty and vulnerability. With evocative images and memories, both sweet and heartbreakingly painful, Marissa gives the audience a greater understanding of OCD and the effect it has had on her life, dispelling in the process the many misunderstandings about OCD. In the aftermath of the Eaton Fire and the loss of so much she had held dear, Marissa’s work truly speaks of a triumph of the spirit and her faith in humanity and herself.
