The vulnerability, the heart, the humor, the warmth. Marissa is a STAR.
What I didn't like
Nada! It’s perfect!
My overall impression
One of the strongest solo shows I’ve seen in a while. Marissa’s warm, focused energy welcomes the audience with open arms all while telling a deeply personal story. As a fellow Eaton Fire victim (whose story is not dissimilar to Marissa’s), this show was a balm for my heart. I wept for the town I’ve lost, but came out of the show feeling like a part of something bigger: a community. I don’t know Marissa well (yet!), but I’m so very proud of her and this fantastic show.
