What I liked
The first thing Marissa did when she walked out onstage was take a beat and look directly at the audience. I immediately felt like she had invited me on this journey with her, and that feeling never went away. She’s incredible at connecting with an audience, and I walked away feeling like I’ve known her for years.

My overall impression
Marissa walks us through her struggles and triumphs in a thoughtful, delicate way. The story is a challenging one but it is filled with hope, it was exactly what I needed.
