The use of music and family videos brought us into Marissa‘s childhood and present life living with OCD.
What I didn't like
Nothing!
My overall impression
In this very personal show, Marissa takes challenging topics like grief, OCD, and deep sadness and turns them into art. She imagines loving and caring for her six-year-old self, and I imagined her loving and caring for the audience in the same way. Please go check out this heartfelt and warm show about painful scary things. They don’t seem so painful or scary after a ukulele serenade of “The way you look tonight.”
