What I liked
I loved how every single person can relate to this, even if they are not mothers or coming out. The realization that one does not need to conform to impossible societal expectations was striking. The idea that the only way to survive this life is by being your true self is explored and confirmed. I am a huge fan of the Hero’s Journey and the show is a perfect example of that. Plus you made me cry, and laugh. What a beautiful and heartfelt show. Great writing and performance!

My overall impression
I laughed, I cried, I sang and R.M. stole my heart. The innocence and vulnerability portrayed throughout was so beautiful and also so heartbreaking. R.M. is not just an amazing performer but a delightful writer. The karaoke throughout the piece was genius. You beat all clowns, in my opinion!
