You find yourself singing along, laughing, maybe crying, and completely swept in. The show opens as playful karaoke night, but quickly becomes so much more: a heartfelt exploration of identity, motherhood, and longing, delivered with extraordinary warmth and vulnerability. Audience participation never feels awkward, just sincere and full of joy.
What I didn't like
If you walked out craving a deeper dive, that’s not a flaw. It’s validation that this touched you. You might wish we lingered longer on those emotional recollections or personal insights, but wanting more means you were moved, not underwhelmed.
My overall impression
This is clowning with heart—the perfect blend of absurdity, soul, and communal energy. Her uncanny ability to shift from silly to deeply introspective makes the spotlight feel like a shared space, not just a performance. You sing, you laugh, you reflect, and when the lights go down, you carry their story with you. The cameo from mom at the end was a nice touch as well.
