What I liked
The writing as well as all the cast performances were very good. All the jokes panned out and even if they had a tech issue, the writing was funny enough to carry it through. Big shout out to Shannon Meske and Alison Parsons who gave tremendous performances in that small theater. I watched this a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about their performances. They’re truly ones to watch! The story had an arc and depth that kept me glued.
What I didn't like
I wish it was longer. Honestly the writing was fun and tight but without feeling too restrictive. There really was no dull moment for me. Perhaps having more cast members or characters? I don’t know- I loved how it was. Even Alison’s camp director back and forth was so good- breaking the 4th wall, commenting on the wardrobe changes and all. This needs to be on a bigger stage or even on film.
My overall impression
Nostalgia in a bottle. This was an absolute blast of a show that kept me smiling the entire time!
