What I liked
Snow Zheng’s remarkable performance, seamlessly portraying both daughter and father, was deeply compelling. I also loved the minimalist design, the intimate storytelling, and the beautiful incorporation of traditional Chinese shadow puppetry, which added both cultural richness and emotional depth to the production.
What I didn't like
I hope productions like this receive greater financial support and wider exposure so that more audiences can experience this beautiful and deeply human story.
My overall impression
A marvelous performance and an intimate exploration of memory, grief, and love. It is always moving to witness a story that speaks to one of humanity’s most enduring truths: love is the answer.
