The small size of the venue made for a more personal experience than I typically have at the theatre. It made the illusion of the monologue being a true story, extemporaneously related, all the more believable. This was a free show, but I would’ve paid to see it.
What I didn't like
I have nothing to critique about Hart’s performance. My only note is that the show ran 60 minutes, not 75 minutes as advertised.
My overall impression
Andrew Hart delivers a riveting performance as an Irish theatre critic with an unsettling confession to make. A supernatural tale for grown-ups, this is intimate theatre at its best!
