What I liked
The props for the audience participation were hilarious, and it made the event so fun!
At one point when the ship was taking on waves & lurching, she was on a little 4-wheel platform, sliding from one end of the ship to the other. Genius! Everything was so creatively well thought out, from the full wall ship backdrop to the ship’s wheel, life boat etc.
What I didn't like
The only improvement I would add is a mic. We were in the back of the studio, and at times it was hard to hear.
My overall impression
What an adventure! A MUST see! We weren’t sure what to expect, but we laughed & cried while being taken on the journey of the Titanic – interwoven with readings from her personal journal.
Mallie was an amazing 1 woman show, taking on the hat/s (literally) of each character perfectly. Honestly, I don’t know how she remembered all the lines for like 20 characters and transitioned from one charter to the next so seamlessly!
Well done Mallie. Your motto of “don’t dream it, be it”, came true. You are it! 😊
