The energy is relentless and infectious, practically a tornado of jokes, magic, and physical theater. Props everywhere and dozens of character shifts; Mallie is a one-person whirlwind. A scene where the iceberg “sinks” with creative staging stopped me in my tracks, and when the audience gets pulled on stage, it doesn’t feel forced, it feels alive. And I got to be a dolphin which was big time fun.
What I didn't like
If anything felt “off,” it was wishing the show lasted just a bit longer. Trying to keep up with Mallie’s breakneck pace is exhilarating, but I wanted to catch every delicious detail. Wanting more is a great problem to have.
My overall impression
This is an absurd, heartfelt parody of Titanic that morphs into something unexpectedly profound. It’s part comedy riot, part emotional journey, and all performed with raw talent. By the end I was laughing and tearing up, still processing the powerful closing moments. Plus it was unexpectedly a magic show as well. Fringe doesn’t get much more remarkable than this.
