This visionary, over-the-top parody is also laced with meaning. There is an earnestness and genuine love for the subject that takes this show to another level. Most of the show, I was engaged in side-splitting laughter. A few times, I was moved to tears. (And I’m not a crier.) I see this show going to off-Broadway or Broadway. LOVED.
What I didn't like
Just minor staging stuff that I’m sure will be worked out as the show grows to its next level. Like the mustache props made it hard for me to hear those lines. But that was part of the genius of this show – the chaos is part of the fun. Even if you miss a line here or there, you’re still “getting it” and laughing.
My overall impression
Words won’t do justice for how much I loved this show.
