A One Woman Titanic delivers what it says on the tin… but with unexpected personal connections and insights woven throughout. What once was (laughable) nineties Oscar-winning dialogue and acting becomes the legitimately hilarious backdrop for reflecting on how we define value, survival, and self-determination. (Also, I got to dance and eat a marshmallow.)
What I didn't like
AOWT is Fringe perfection (and you know it).
My overall impression
Un-FUCKING-believably amazing! One Woman Titanic is by far the best thing I’ve seen at Fringe. Mallie McCown takes what sounds like a chaotic parody and turns it into something funny, physical, and surprisingly profound.
