Her personal story is what keeps this boat afloat. Let’s see THAT. James Cameron already did the Titanic… much, MUCH better. IF she must keep it (it is her hook, after all), I’d cut at least half… Starts to get fun when the iceberg appears (at which point it’s no longer a “one-woman show”). So much potential… but unbridled, and ultimately unhinged.
What I didn't like
Desperately needs direction. She needs to slow down, project, and really focus the Titanic bits. As is, it’s chaotic, messy, crazy, and confusing. (I think she thinks that “the style,” but it’s seriously sinking this ship!)
My overall impression
Hot mess! Her journal reading was touching, and her overall end-takeaways were relatable, but the actual Titanic part left me as cold as an iceberg!
