What started out as a manic display of one actor plowing through numerous roles at breakneck speed turned into something far more personal, with the Titanic story symbolizing and illuminating deeper issues....

This was no easy feat but Mallie handled it so spectacular with a little help from Magic Ofcourse! I highly recommend this show! I watched it twice and it just got better and better. It’s so funny with a lot of heart, and for every artist out there you too can relate to the words. I can’t praise this show enough! ...

Whenever I watch a movie in the theater, I like to escape into that movie if it really grabs me. It doesn't leave me, even when watching the movie is done. Mallie McCown took me and the rest of the audience down her path. Her way. She was a kid that joyously watched and then later mimicked those moments. Sometimes with friends. Sometimes alone. In "Fuck! An Iceberg" Mallie takes you on that journey. You even get to participate along the way and be part of the movie. This play isn't just about a certain film. It's a journey into Mallie's life. And how clinging to something she loves doing helps with life's challenges. She shares her, while indirectly reminding all of us we have our own too. An absolute delight to be a part of this. Very happy...

Mallie McCown’s performance is a tour de force. McCown’s talent shines throughout—in her physical comedy work, as a character actor playing an entire movie cast at lightning speed, and in her vulnerable monologues sharing her past through journal entries, which really take the show, and her performance, to the next level. I expected to giggle, but man oh man— I belly-laughed, I got teary, I danced onstage (it’s interactive, in the best way). And the fact that it kicks off with Dylan George’s phenomenal magic was an extra special treat! This show is far from a shipwreck. Do not miss it!!!...

Everyone who had a formative experience seeing the movie Titanic when it first premiered in the winter of 1997 simply MUST make time to see this production. It is phenomenal, not just in its delightful retelling of the film, but in the emotionally raw journal entries of a young teen navigating a world of icebergs. Mallie shares her passion, vulnerability, and hope. ...

When I saw the extensive props for this show, I knew I should expect the unexpected, and I was right. But the unexpected did not stop at the use of creative props, but applied to the entire storyline. That was the biggest surprise. Rather than just a comedic solo retelling of the movie “Titanic,” the story alternates between those scenes, and Mallie’s real diary entries starting at age 11 when she first saw and fell in love with the movie, to age 18. In so doing it draws parallels between the movie and Mallie’s real life. The result is a coming-of-age story filled with the sweet optimism and discovery of youth....

Outstanding! Mallie has achieved an impossible feat -- reenacting Titanic in an hour and a half -- take note James Cameron. This is such a fun and engaging show, with audience interaction, magic, laughter, a million props, and some well-spun heart throughout. And just like the Titanic, it's an incredible undertaking for Fringe -- but this girl doesn't sink, she comes flying out of the water slide face first and all smiles. Take the time and see this show while you can!...

Insanely funny, incredibly captivating, and touchingly vulnerable. Mallie McCown leaves it all on the floor (literally) as she takes the audience on a rollercoaster of laughs, splashes, and some tears. A must watch!!...
