Kittens was such a treat to see at Fringe this year! It is a wonderful musical with an incredibly endearing cast <3 The story and talent handled very heavy topics in such a graceful way. From start to finish, there is a perfect balance, keeping the audience laughing and smiling between the heavier beats; I found myself giggling one moment, and tearing up the next. The set design was simple yet fulfilling and costumes were very charming and colourful. The music is carefully threaded throughout the hour and so well delivered, time flew by. I'm so glad these young artists are tackling such big subject matter - with such elan! Was very happy to dwell in their humor, musicality and pathos. Lots of great energy, commitment and content.
