What I liked

Aaron’s storytelling grabs you like a trusted mate at the pub, playful, disarming, and utterly compelling. Through sharp wit and theatrical smarts, he pulls you into a narrative that flips your expectations and leaves you leaning forward. That twist, it got me, it will get you too. It’s engaging, entertaining, and emotionally resonant all at once.

What I didn't like

I just wanted more runtime, not because it lagged, but because I was too invested to let it end. A longer exploration of Aaron’s journey, perhaps a serialized version, would’ve been welcome. That craving speaks volumes: the show captured me fully.

My overall impression

This solo piece is a masterclass in comedy storytelling. It is smart, provocative, humorous, occasionally shocking, and never dull. Aaron’s performance leaves you questioning assumptions and feeling deeply seen. By the end, you’re not just cheering, you’re changed. It could give Birbiglia a run for his money any day of the week.
