What I liked
I loved the puppets! They were very imaginative and expressive, and the execution of their movements was fantastic. I also was deeply impressed at how the cast created whole worlds out of a few chairs, boxes, and a ladder. The power of imagination was fully on display here. The cast was fantastic too, especially Jessica Martin as The Time Traveler and Christie Coran as The Author.
What I didn't like
My only wish was to see more Morlocks! The Morlock puppet was great, although I understand that its size would make another two Morlocks on stage difficult at best.
My overall impression
I absolutely loved this show! This is by far one of the best adaptations of The Time Machine I have seen. The writing, the acting, the costuming, the sound effects, and the puppets! All were fantastic. I brought my family and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I would gladly see it again and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience child-like joy and wonder again.
