What I liked
I loved the creativity and utilization of the actors creating sounds, useful lighting elements, movement, staging/choreo, use of prop elements to create dynamic pictures and scenes on the stage. This show was a creative, visual pleasure to witness!
What I didn't like
This did not detract from the performances or the show in any way, as it was overall a highly skill level production. Just a personal preference, I was missing the character dialogue for specific scenes to better connect more emotionally with the Time Traveler or other characters. Many of the scenes dialogue were narrated action spoken allowed to each character, if this was the intended purposes of the writing, then the job was executed well, but I would have preferred to hear more character developed dialogue in the storytelling of this wonderful adventure story.
My overall impression
The Time Machine was a delightful adventure story, dynamically performed by the actors and skillfully crafted with lighting and production design. A highly recommended show to see if you enjoy themes of time travel, adventure, mystery, great actors and creative production elements on stage.
