What I liked
His interactions with the audience were brilliant. Different members of the crowd getting to play different parts is so smart. I may be biased since I got to play one of his love interests…but he definitely had me hooked! My other favorite thing was the Chaplin “walk,” he had it NAILED. The use of the projector was excellent, every prop and costume worked. You won’t find a better Chaplin impersonation!

My overall impression
What a gorgeous love letter to Charlie Chaplin! As a lover of silent cinema, seeing the great Charlie Chaplin come to life was so unbelievably cool!!! Marcel gives an authentic portrayal of the legendary figure, from the makeup to the costume to the movements. I was so impressed with his incredible comedic timing with all his improvisations. One of the most clever and original shows I’ve seen in a long time, this show is a MUST SEE at fringe!!!
