I love the concept, sort of an improv version of Play That Went Wrong. Could really be hilarious in the right hands.
What I didn't like
Unfortunately, most of the cast had neither the skill level, nor the ability to pull this off. This play needed dedicated actors with high energy and impeccable timing, actors who are desperately trying to fix the play when it goes awry due to the addition of an audience member to the cast who hasn’t a clue what is going on or how the story is supposed to progress. Only two actors, the man who played the Butler, and the one who played the messed-up actor, had anywhere near the proper energy for this. All the other actors just stood around with absoloutely no involvement while the “director” tried to coach the new addition as to the story. Most of the actors could barely be heard, and behaved as if they couldn’t care less how the play went. The night I saw it, Friday, June 6, the audience-member character had as much ability and enthusiasm as a damp rag. It was a very painful 75 minutes.
