What I liked
I am a big fan of dumb and silly, and The Jared Show has that in spades. I love Jared’s commitment to the bit, and how he really burns it all down throughout the show. All the side players were well-utilized and hilarious, and the show was extremely well-written. It just HIT!
What I didn't like
I think Jared could maybe hurt himself a bit more.
My overall impression
What a delirious, demented ride through the mind of someone who wants a talk show more than anything but absolutely should never have one. But Jared is a big boy now and nothing will stop him from rising to the top. I love this show. Jared is out of his mind. He betrays everything that matters to him for one shot at success, and it’s a real thrill to watch him fail at every turn. It’s hilarious and absurd and so well-crafted. I love seeing a show where you can tell how hard someone worked to make something so absolutely stupid. A smashing success.
