Loved the banter, the simplistic yet brilliantly effective set, and the costuming. It may be simple but sometimes simple is what is perfect and good. The simplicity added to the campy-ness and let the actual writing of the piece and the performances shine.
What I didn't like
The only part that my friend and I had a small struggle with was that the screams where overwhelming and over stimulating in such a small space. We appreciated the intensity and the full send of it but just wish it was not as loud. But obviously a scream is a scream and for this kind of play it is needed so it didn’t bother us too much other than a mild annoyance and quick yikes to the ears.
My overall impression
This show was a brilliant mix of comedy, camp, “horror”/“slasher”, and truth. Amazing play.
