My overall impression

I was lucky enough to watch Harbor City Tonight! during its opening night, and the audience was captivated the entire time. It’s a remarkable accomplishment with such a small cast and minimal props. First-time director Caitlin Zambito has used her background as an actor to draw stunning performances from the six actors on stage, who do it all! Acting, singing, dancing, and stunts. The fascist themes of the play, expertly researched by writer Ryan Elliot Wilson, feel uncannily timely, and I left the theater with my mind swimming though all the provocative ideas and reflections I’d just witnessed. Can’t recommend this play enough!
