The cast did a great job bringing energy and fun to a complicated story, and gave real and varied human dimensions to ancient historical figures usually seen as paintings or statues. A good deal of audience engagement added to the pace of the hour.
What I didn't like
The need to fit all the story and relationships…with all of the waaaay old-timey names - into the allotted time schedule made keeping track of everything a bit of challenge.
My overall impression
This is a high-paced, crowd pleasing romp through the sometimes violent and, well, Byzantine route to the creation of what we now know as the tri-partite nature of the Christian God at the Council of Nicaea . Who knew that inventing the Holy Trinity was not as easy as 1-2-3? The show is loud, rapid-paced fun and if you can keep up, even educational.
