Entertaining, creative, and fun. It was so well written that I forgot about the world going to crap for the length of the play. If you want to watch something funny with great singing and acting then Oh Constantine! is for you. 10/10 would watch again and again. ... full review

This is one of the funniest projects you will see in all of Fringe! It felt great to laugh out loud every few lines. Oh Constantine! is surrealism, satire, and absurdism all in one. The performances are fantastic and the plot is silly but cohesive and good. This is a high-paced, crowd pleasing romp through the sometimes violent and, well, Byzantine route to the creation of what we now know as the tri-partite nature of the Christian God at the Council of Nicaea . I had the absolute pleasure of attending Oh Constantine! at the Zephyr Theatre yesterday, and had a wonderful experience! The play was smart and funny. I love when you get hit with the lucky fortunes in life. Seeing the the "Oh Constantine" play written, directed and produced by Jan-David Soutar is one of those lucky fortunes. Being able to catch this in an intimate 70+ theatre knowing it'll soon play for a thousand seat theatre is of great magnitude for me. I love watching flights take off, there's a specialness to seeing it all come together. Sports championships are won by the people on the bench, they have to be able to carry the ship when it's their time and hearing the stories come out after the play of Understudies staying ready so they didn't have to get ready, was the most beautiful acknowledgement of team work and why this play plays so well. The brilliant costumes, clever staging, and standout performances combine into a holy comedic riot that you pray you won’t stop smiling about.
