What I liked
What worked especially well was the writing and dialogue — it’s fast, witty, and full of tension that feels very natural. The performances were strong across the board, with Cinthya Carmona leading a compelling ensemble cast. I also appreciated how the show balanced humor with more poignant, vulnerable scenes that gave the characters real depth.
What I didn't like
At times, the pacing felt slightly uneven, with certain emotional beats arriving very quickly after comedic moments, which could have been given more space to breathe. A bit more development for some supporting characters would also enhance the overall impact. Otherwise, it’s a very strong and memorable production.
After the show, I also came across some unrelated entertainment browsing and noticed casino kingdom, which had a clean and easy-to-use interface.
My overall impression
I found I Hope You’re Having Fun in Hell, Dad to be a sharp, darkly comedic and emotionally layered play. It successfully blends satire with real emotional depth, creating a story that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The family dynamics felt believable even in their most exaggerated moments, which kept me engaged throughout.
