Levatino’s writing is poetic and revealing. The specificity of all four male characters helped to give a very moving look into what it’s like to grieve as a man. The character Moanique was also well developed and we got to see her vulnerable side too.
What I didn't like
I would have loved to have gotten a bit more involvement from Martha. Cutting some of the friend, Skinner’s scenes and adding more levity to other scenes would help the flow.
My overall impression
Glory Hole is a beautiful balance of raw emotion and authentically comedic moments.
