I enjoyed it when Haig went off-script, talking to the audience and adding his humor to his serious topics. He was very real, and that made us connect even more with him and the material. I also liked the slides he showed behind him while telling various stories.
What I didn't like
I think he was dressing like a “dad” for his performance, wearing slacks and a button-down shirt, but in person, he has a unique style, and he may consider incorporating his real-life hip persona into his dress for the show.
My overall impression
Best. Dad. Never. It was the best! What a brave, honest, and funny one-man show by Haig Chahinian. I highly recommend seeing the show this week. It offers a unique glimpse into the world of parenting from a fresh perspective.
