Charlie Day is such an engaging performer. His script is silly and sharp and genuine, frequently all at once. It’s a difficult line to walk and Day handles it wonderfully.

My overall impression
What begins as a farcical take on a side character from Romeo & Juliet becomes an earnest examination of identity, self-love, and the role we play both in our own lives and in the lives of others. Charlie Day balances broad comedy and touching sincerity with grace and skill. And you do NOT need to be a Shakespeare nerd to enjoy this show!
