Charlie Day does a marvelous job of laying bare a man’s foibles and taking us on a journey of self discovery. The show deals with themes of toxic masculinity, insecurities, and sex. Plus there’s some really provocative dancing.
What I didn't like
I’ve got nothing negative to say about this show.
My overall impression
I thought this show embodied everything that Fringe should be about. Charlie is utterly charming and the show is hilarious, compelling, thoughtful, timely and honest. Theatre folk have been mining Shakespeare forever looking for new twists and perspectives on characters and themes and this show does a masterful job of infusing wit and clever anachronisms to focus a light on a tertiary character from the Bard’s canon.
