Breaking it into shorter chapters worked very well. Black-outs were a good way of treating material such as this.
What I didn't like
Too bad they couldn’t get rid of the couch for the last scene!
My overall impression
Extremely witty, with so many laugh-out-loud moments that you might forget it’s about a dark subject. Both leads were superb, and there wasn’t a slow moment in the production. I definitely didn’t expect such crisp writing and a basically simple plot that never got old or seemed to be repeating itself. Most of it felt very believable given all the silliness involved, thanks in part to the solid characterizations and performances.
