Would be interested to see the scene w/ Liz being propositioned.
My overall impression
Glad I slept on it before I reviewed – this slice of life hit way way deeper than I expected! Smartly written, grounded but crackling performances. The easy reproire w/ the leads almost mask the disillusion, discontent, frustration that rumbles beneath the surface. Something deeply stupid/sad/absurd about having to stay married for health insurance. So much so that it almost felt ‘reasonable’ for Neil to make the decision he made. What?? That’s’ insane, but so is not having universal healthcare, so I kinda get this. Terrific job, team!
