Detox

What I liked

Directors did a great job with actors’ spacial awareness and performers had subtext excellency. Their shadows played an important role to bring this story to life, being my personal favorite element from this piece.

What I didn't like

Pitch variation and natural pauses are notes I would encourage the cast to further explore to keep the spoken word fresh for the public. Nevertheless, each phrase was portrayed with depth by all actors.

My overall impression

“Detox” is a powerful symbol of the rites of passage in love and addiction.
