About the Project

When Isla and Gray meet, they forge a passion for each other that few people have. Isla, much younger and full of hope, falls for Gray’s every move. Gray falls for Isla, but this does not look good. The dynamic is uncomfortable and brings morals into question. Soon Isla knows something is wrong. Every debonair smile and charismatic comment is accompanied by a reach for his drink. But it’s nothing she can’t handle, right? That’s what people do for love, right? He says he’s fine. He is fine, right? He’s too sad for her to leave. Don’t leave. He said not to make the call so don’t make the call. It’s the right thing to do… Right? 

This is a story about a unique dynamic between two people that causes every instinct and moral to be questioned. A deep dive into the human condition. You will see people who do not see the danger around the corner and dive head-first into situations. The deep psychological damage emotional abuse does to a person. The ongoing battle with addiction and its affect on the world around it. And lastly, losing a grip on right and wrong. It’s all a gray area. Welcome to that fever dream.
