The show was hilarious start to finish. The tone of the show felt like watching an improv show with slightly more direction. Every character delivered some great humor and the actors were truly in it the whole time. Definitely recommend going to see it! ... full review

This is a hilarious show, jokes on top of jokes sandwiched between two other jokes. All the actors do a great job but the lead is undeniable, seem him in this show and see him on tv soon. ... full review

Every joke in this show hit and I just couldn't stop laughing. The direction and acting was impeccable, never becoming too overdone or understated. Close your eyes, give me your hand and let’s go watch Eternal Flamer. The creativity of this show doesn’t end with the hilarious title. This melodrama has it all: a handsome villain, a charming hero, Easter egg references to popular 80s tunes galore. Gnosis’s colorful production design is eye-catching and works to great effect. The whole ensemble cast works together beautifully, with standout performances by Joan Nelson, Ross Knight, and Sadé Ayodele. Matthew Zanfagna’s eye as a director is sharp, with a playful edge. Are you looking to feel 90 minutes of joy? A seeming rarity lately, yet you’ll find it watching this show.... full review

Eternal Flamer is an over the top, laugh out loud queer comedy that commits to the bit. Matthew Zanfagna beautifully directs this wacky show with some of the cleanest choreography I've ever seen. The set is simple, but extremely effective, and the performers lean hard into this satirical nature of the script. Some highlight performances include James Tison as the innocent yet confident Jessie Blade, Joan Nelson as the overbearing (and somehow loveable) Mamma Blade, and Gnosis as Rudy - the grounded foil to every other character. If you are ready to dive into the 80s, then "I Heard a Rumor" that you should not be such a "Straight Edge" and step into the "Danger Zone" and come see this show. Don't miss out on this zaney show or "Another One B... full review

If you are looking for an over-the-top, ultra campy, cringe comedy, queer farce, look no further! Eternal Flamer is a very polished ~70 minute deep dive into a wacky 1980s world of drugs, sex, and fading innocence. The whole cast commits wholeheartedly to the show’s stylized physicality, and bold direction helps differentiate between the numerous characters played by the ensemble. Some standout performances include James Tison as a doe-eyed Jessie Blade, Joan Nelson as Jessie’s conservative mother, and Gnosis as Rudy. The show is loud and unapologetic, and Gnosis in particular serves as a refreshing, more grounded foil to the otherwise constant in-your-face comedy. If you are sensitive about controversial topics, there may be moments of crin... full review
