What I liked
The performances were excellent, and the ending was lovely!! Hilarious dance numbers and the premise is fun and funny. I’m so impressed! I also love the bit of having actors start before the show and/or in the audience.
What I didn't like
Some of the in-show technical sound glitches came in a little too loud. I loved the last few minutes of earnestness and I’d love to see more of the backstory between the director and the lead actress to make it really land. A few jokes may have been recycled too often (the wicked witch forgetting her lines). Give me higher stakes!
My overall impression
Super fun Oz satire with a lot of self-deprecating humor. Self-aware and cast very well, and makes use of the space in great ways!
