The actors were so committed and just leaned all the way inside the insanity which I felt kept all of in the audience along for the ride! I also thought this show was well paced, used the space really well, and had great costuming.
What I didn't like
Sometimes it was hard to tell what was actually going wrong (ie tech, sound, etc) and what was scripted, which I think made it fun but it could have been clearer. I also would have liked when the characters dropped out of “character” to be more clear and i think the trio (lion, tinman, scarecrow) actors could have had more of those moments.
My overall impression
What an absolute delight this show was!! A wonderful mash up of genres and themes that stayed rooted in a classic story. The show was chaotic from the moment it started in all the best ways and I was laughing the whole way through. Shout out to the hysterical and incredibly apt costuming which really added to all the shenanigans. Just a really good time all around!!
