There are some great running gags, particularly involving the Wicked Witch of the West. There’s excellent movement sequences as well. The ending is impactful, and the performance from the lead actor (playing Dorothy) is particularly strong.
What I didn't like
There were a handful of small timing issues that impacted how punchlines and visual gags landed, but I imagine these will get worked out quickly (I saw the preview). The stage is also somewhat challenging for sightlines, as there are two pillars stage right and left that partially block the view for the audience on the sides. But most of the staging accommodates this challenge very well!
My overall impression
A fun, absurd farce a la The Play That Goes Wrong or Noises Off. Very impressive to have executed such a technically challenging piece within the Fringe production model!
