In the checklist of “things that could go wrong in a community theater production” (injuries, a romantic couple in the cast, bad tech) I think they checked all the boxes. Also I’m still thinking about the Tin Woman’s dress…
What I didn't like
There might have been a couple few jokes that were stepped on by other actors or that I just lost when it was right before or after an audio queue.
My overall impression
I enjoyed the “show within a show aspect.” Angie (the playwright character played by the actual playwright) is so earnest in her vision that some audiences may assume in her opening monologue that they are hearing from an eager Fringe artist.
