Other productions that share the space altering their set was a little unfair to them. They adapted well and made it work.
My overall impression
This show was a well-orchestrated farcical romp. Every member of the ensemble had them their shining moments and everyone got laughs throughout.
The show was tied together through the mesmerizing performance of the lead in the role of Dorothy; finding a balance between ridiculous energy and honest, believable emotions. Clearly a star in the making.
A show in this style and genre is very hard to pull off, and congratulations is due to the director, Gayla Goehl, for bringing the cast together in a tight, frenetic, constantly in motion, raucous good time.
Laugh out loud funny.
