i really enjoyed the show as a whole! it was a fun romp with many engaging actors, scenes and setpieces. i loved the backdrop and the attention to detail. i love the immersion of the play -- actors running through the audience and in and out the audience doors, even during the pre-show they're already in character which was so fun....

Very funny and layered satire that made great use of a kind of odd space. This felt like the love child of the “Thanksgiving Play” by Larissa Fasthorse and the anti-comedy of Tim Heidecker. Often the funniest moments don’t elicit laughs. Just wide eyed shock. Also as with all meta theater, it was helped by external circumstances. Everyone reacted to jokes differently. I was sitting behind kids who did NOT understand the concept or recursive theater. It was awesome....

This show doesn't waste a single moment, or a single part of the space. There's often more than one voice heard, or a technical snafu interrupting dialogue, or a character peeking out from backstage to make sure everything is on track. You could watch this show ten times and not catch it all. But everything is done with great purpose and care. ...

What an absolute delight this show was!! A wonderful mash up of genres and themes that stayed rooted in a classic story. The show was chaotic from the moment it started in all the best ways and I was laughing the whole way through.
