The show wonderfully handles non-linear storytelling and the actors absolutely carry this layered and nuanced script.
What I didn't like
I have very little critique for this production. Sitting on the sides does deprive you of occasionally seeing an actor’s expression/face, so just be aware of that. Even still, though, the actors do such an excellent job that you’re able to understand how they’re reacting, even from behind.
My overall impression
Excellent comedic timing, biting dialogue, quick pace, and the endlessly relatable mother/daughter dynamic. The unsaid questions and tension really hang in the air, palpable to the audience, and the actors expertly handle the material with wit and ease. You know a show is good when you’re able to identify with each character and feel empathy for each experience. Make sure to see it!
