My overall impression

This was Dan Johnson’s first production, and I was impressed with how well he put it on. He got some pretty good and varied acting talent, some good sound design, and nice set pieces- plus there’s his real talent, which is his writing. It was great to finally see it brought to life after hearing so much about it for so long. It all came together nicely; I enjoyed the plays very much. There were a few things I would change- the lighting and the set changes as mentioned, a bit more direction for some of the acting, and a reason for one character’s exit, which I never even noticed. My favorite was the first play; I empathized with those characters and the reality of their lives. I don’t know if I would change it, but my least favorite was the last- I felt very little for those characters. It was hard to feel for people who are both acting like jerks, but then, we are indeed flawed human beings, so that’s real too.
