I was riveted by the awkwardly charming couple in "Leftovers". Still thinking about them now, days later.
I felt the last play hurried to unload a lot of info at the end to raise the stakes in an already wonderfully painful scenario that didn't need the added boost.
Great acting all around. Loved the different voices in the writing. They made for a well rounded exploration of what Love Actually Isn't....

This was Dan Johnson's first production, and I was impressed with how well he put it on. He got some pretty good and varied acting talent, some good sound design, and nice set pieces- plus there's his real talent, which is his writing. It was great to finally see it brought to life after hearing so much about it for so long. It all came together nicely; I enjoyed the plays very much. There were a few things I would change- the lighting and the set changes as mentioned, a bit more direction for some of the acting, and a reason for one character's exit, which I never even noticed.
